Charging
Traditionally the school has arranged a wide programme of educational visits and activities to provide valuable first hand experiences for the children. These activities take place both in and out of school hours.
The school subsidises some of the activities but in order to maintain the current programmes the school requires voluntary contributions towards the cost of the visits. Many activities take place in the local area in order to keep costs down. Parents in receipt of Income Support Benefits are entitled to financial support towards any charge for residential visits. No child will be excluded from any school time activity due to the inability to pay.
Parents who wish to keep the finished product of a cooking or craft activity can be charged the cost of the raw materials.
Parents will be charged for any damage done to school property where this is the result of their child's misbehaviour.
