School Parliament
Our School Parliament meet every Friday afternoon with Mrs Fox and discuss many different things including how they can raise money for our school.
The Parliament is made up of 20 pupils and there are 4 pupils from each year group from Year 2 to Year 6.
In 2014, they had the idea of raising money so that the school could purchase one of the ceramic poppies from the Tower of London poppy display in memory of a teacher who sadly died during World War One.
Occasionally, they also run 'pop up' shops for pupils to buy stationery items and ran a stall at our Christmas Fair. They have recently started to run a healthy tuck shop at morning break selling healthy snacks and fruit.
The Parliament raise money for charity and each year, they pick a different charity to support and they also like to help school find out the views of all the children and how we can make Woodseats Primary the best school.
